We are a medium sized service plumbing company located in the heart of the beautiful Walla Walla Valley! We love working with clients to resolve plumbing issues, and providing them with the highest quality in items and workmanship. There is no residential plumbing challenge we won't face!
Where did A-1 Plumbing come from?
Formerly Gary Aichele Plumbing, in 2007 became A-1 Plumbing to give the previous owner his name back and to add new services.
We now provide guaranteed appointment times, and True 24/7 service. Our Club membership gives our loyal clients 15% off all services and guaranteed same day service for emergencies.
Who else is on your team?
We have three dispatchers and 10 or so techs in the field. Our dispatchers take care of client calls, dispatching, billing, and pretty much all the paperwork. The technicians work in shifts so we always have a team in the field, 7 days a week. "Meet The Team" to find out more about our techs.

JEFF KNOWLESHello, my name is Jeff. When I was sixteen, I started thinking about plumbing and called all the plumbers in town to see if they were hiring. At age 18 I began purchasing A-1 Plumbing (then known as Gary Aichele Plumbing) with my two brothers and father. I worked as a plumbing apprentice for four years and then tested out as a journeyman plumber. I love playing football, volleyball, or anything active. I enjoy spending time with people and solving problems. I am always ready, willing, and able to help solve any plumbing problem you may have. I love God and seek to serve Him daily.

DAVE KNOWLESHello, my name is Dave. I purchased A-1 Plumbing (known then as Gary Aichele Plumbing) with my two brothers and father in May of 2003. Since that time I have played an active role in the daily activities that make up the small family owned business. I thoroughly enjoy the varied challenges that come with working in the plumbing industry. I have been greatly blessed with a lovely wife and 7 amazing children. When I am not at work I am often with one or more of my family members either tackling some project on the farm, playing sports, or just having a relaxing evening together. I am a born again Christian and seek God’s grace to live out my faith in all of my daily activities, always keeping in mind the scripture "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8)

MATT HARRIHello, my name is Matt. I grew up in Walla Walla, spent four years earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, then spent the next eight years building my skills as a contractor in Kansas City. When my amazing wife Song and I started a family, that change brought us back to the beautiful Walla Walla Valley. We have enjoyed establishing ourselves here at the base of the Blue Mountains ever since. I enjoy all things outdoors, motorcycles, music, ceramics, football, and most of all, spending time with my wife and five children.

JOSE ESPARZAHello, my name is Jose. I was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley. I have had the pleasure of working with A-1 Plumbing for 5 years. I continue to look forward to servicing the community. I spent a few years in Portland, earning a bachelor's degree in biology before resettling back in the Walla Walla Valley. I enjoy exercising, spending time with family and friends, and the outdoors. I look forward to serving you! |
COLTON HODGSONHello, my name is Colton. I have been in the service plumbing industry for 7 years. Proud father of 2 beautiful little girls, Jubilee and Lucia. When I'm not plumbing I enjoy spending time with my wife, Sarah and our girls. I also enjoy doing yard work at home, BBQ with friends and family, doing puzzles, competing in strongman competitions and praising Jesus.
